Abstract: Laser Assisted Keratomileusis (LASIK) is a widely recognized and safe surgical procedure for correcting various refractive errors in the eye. While complications are rare, they may include issues associated with the corneal flap, the corneal interface, aberrations, or under/overcorrections. In this report, we present a unique case involving a permanent central scotoma accompanied by a central field defect following a laser-assisted keratomileusis procedure in a patient with high myopia.
